Petrol, diesel prices on Sept 7: Know rates in BBSR, Cuttack and other cities

Prices of petroleum products have now been aligned to market rates. This means fuel prices will rise each time, global crude prices rise and the rupee falls against the dollar. The rates of petrol and diesel have been considerably steady in Odisha and other parts of the country. Fuel prices, especially petrol and diesel, are very sensitive to global crude prices.

Petrol price in Balasore is at Rs 103.53, Bargarh is at 104.13, Bhadrak is at Rs 103.75, and petrol price in Bolangir is at 105.91 as recorded on September 7.

Similarly, petrol is being sold at Rs 103.28 and Rs 103.19 in the twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.

As far as diesel is concerned, the fuel is being sold at Rs 95.10 in Balasore, Rs 95.68 in Bargarh, Rs 94.27 in Jagatsinghpur, Rs 94.81 in Jharsuguda, Rs 100.56 in Malkangiri and Rs 95.93 in Sambalpur.

Similarly, the diesel being sold at Rs 94.76 and Rs Rs 94.84 at Bhubaneswar and Cuttack respectively.

Prices of non-subsidised LPG cylinders today in Cuttack and Bhubaneswar are Rs1,079.50 and Rs 1079.00 respectively.
