Newly elected FICCI president Subhrakanta Panda felicitated

The Utkal Chamber of Commerce and Industries Limited (UCCI) on Tuesday felicitated IMFA’s MD Subhrakanta Panda at a special function held in Bhubaneswar. 

Notably, Panda has recently been elected as the president of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).  His predecessor was Sanjiv Mehta. 

The event was attended by Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Mayor Sulochana Das as the chief guest among other dignitaries and UCCIL officials and staff. 

While addressing the dignitaries and guests, Panda said, “There has never been somebody from Odisha to head it (FICCI). But I just want to make clear that this is not a personal achievement by any means. I have repeatedly said that it is a reflection of the collective progress of the State and its many entrepreneurs many of whom are present here today. So, thank you, I will do my best to live up to your expectations and represent Odisha with great pride and honour.”
