Amid fluctuation in gold and silver prices across the country, the price for 23-carat gold per 10 gram with GST reached Rs 53,400 in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Monday.

For 23-carat, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal reached Rs 51,400 while the rate of 22-carat gold is at Rs 50,400.

Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 45,500, Rs 41,200 and Rs 32,700, respectively. Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 41,500 on Monday.

On the other hand, one kilogram of silver is being sold at 59,300 (with GST) in Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, gold is trading at Rs 5,335 per gram (GST 995) and Rs 5,190 (Cash 995) in Cuttack.

The rates of gold and silver may vary as per MCX and from dealer to dealer.

The updated Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) figures reveal that gold futures, which will mature on 5 October 2022, fell by 0.58 per cent to Rs 51,864.00. Silver futures, which will mature on 5 September this year, also saw a decline of 1.02 per cent and settled at Rs 57,390.00.
