Amid fluctuation in gold and silver prices across the country, the price of 23-carat gold per 10 gram with GST reached Rs 52,750 in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack on Monday.

For 23-carat, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal is Rs 50,900 while the rate of 22-carat gold has reached Rs 49,800.

Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 45,000, Rs 40,800 and Rs 32,400 respectively. Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 41,100.

On the other hand, one kilogram of silver is being sold at 64,800 (with GST) in Bhubaneswar, following an increase of Rs 700 from Saturday's price of Rs 64,100.

Meanwhile, gold is trading at Rs 5,275 per gram (GST 995) and Rs 5,240 (Cash 995) in Cuttack.

The rates of gold and silver may vary as per MCX and from dealer to dealer.

High inflation rates have made gold prices highly volatile over the last few weeks.

In the global market, gold prices rose on Monday as the US dollar weakened, but recent gains are unlikely to stave off another monthly fall for greenback-priced bullion, news agency Reuters reported.
