Amid the fluctuation in gold and silver rates across the country, the price for 24-carat gold per 10 gram reached Rs 51,700 on Thursday in Bhubaneswar with a drop of Rs 350 from Wednesday’s price.

For 23-carat, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal is Rs 49,800 while the rate of 22-carat gold reached 48,800.

Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 44,100, Rs 39,900 and Rs 31,800 respectively. Pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 40,200.

On the other hand, one kilogram of silver is being sold at Rs 57,100 (With GST) in Bhubaneswar.

Meanwhile, gold is traded at Rs 5,165 per gram (GST 995) and Rs 5,130 (Cash 995) in Cuttack.

Notably, the price of gold and silver varies for different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges and state taxes.

In the international market, gold was trading higher at USD 1,711 per ounce while silver was flat at USD 18.80 per ounce.
