Petrol prices have been steady since April 6, after successive hikes by oil marketing companies (OMC). While petrol price was recorded at Rs 112.68 per litre, diesel rate was recorded at Rs 102.35 per litre today.

In Cuttack, petrol and diesel rates were recorded at Rs 112.73 and Rs 102.39 respectively.

It is worth mentioning that the public sector OMCs, including Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), revise the petrol and diesel prices in line with the benchmark international prices and foreign exchange rates.

New Delhi- Rs 105.41

Kolkata- Rs 115.12    

Mumbai- Rs 120.51    

Chennai- Rs 110.86    

On the other hand, the price of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder has been increased by Rs 50 with effect from today (May 7). The domestic cylinder will now cost Rs 999.50/cylinder from today.
