While Elon Musk’s Tesla is yet to make its official entry into India, that has not deterred our uber cool billionaires to get their hands on the premium electric car.

Several businessmen in the country have already imported a few Tesla cars in India privately, which makes them unique and rare sights on the Indian roads.

However, a recent post from a used car dealer has caught attention of car enthusiasts which shows a used Tesla Model Y for sale at a price of Rs 1.3 crore.

As per the used car dealer “Big Boy Toyz”, the car is a 2023 Model Y and registered in Telangana.

A Cartoq reports shows the car is grey in colour and the distance on odometer shows the car has travelled only 2300km before going for sale again.

The details of this Tesla Model Y on sale in the used car market also reveals that this is an all-wheel drive variant. However, there is no mention of the powertrain and battery details.

This is the first time that any Tesla vehicle has hit the used car market in India, considering how rare and limited they are in number across the country. Launched in 2020, the Tesla Model Y is one of the newest models from the American all-electric vehicle maker.

According to reports, Tesla is planning to launch Model Y Crossover, as its first model to be available in India. The same model will be launched in Germany too.

Tesla is reportedly close to finalising an agreement with Indian government that would allow the US automaker to import its electric vehicles to the country from this year, while paving the way for a local factory in the next two years.
