Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the fourth-generation Vellfire in India.

The luxury MPV is available in two variants: Hi and VIP, priced at Rs. 1,19,90,000 and Rs. 1,29,90,000, respectively (ex-showroom).

The new Vellfire maintains a similar appearance to its predecessor. The front boasts split headlamps with LED daytime running lights and a large six-slat grille housing the brand logo. The profile showcases a single-unit glasshouse with blacked-out pillars and chrome accents, while the rear features a U-shaped tail-lamp insert, chrome trims, Vellfire badging, and a prominent Toyota logo.

As far as the interiors and features are concerned, the new Vellfire gets a simple-looking dashboard with fewer buttons than the outgoing model as the majority of the functions are now integrated into the large, 14-inch touchscreen. There's a new and more comfortable seat design, a large overhead console for the passengers for controlling various vehicle functions, multiple AC vents and newly designed pull-down sun shades.

The new Vellfire sits on Toyota’s modular TNGA-K platform and is now lighter than the outgoing model. It measures 4,995mm in length, 1,850mm in width and 1,950mm in height with a wheelbase of 3,000mm. It is powered by a 193hp, 240Nm, 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol-hybrid powertrain mated to an e-CVT.

Toyota claims the Vellfire will return a fuel efficiency of 19.28kpl.
