Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL), has begun delivering the new age Baleno 2022 to its customers as the vehicle is recently seen rolling on the Indian roads.

The Baleno which has been ruling the premium hatchback segment since its launch in 2015, has donned a facelift in 2022 with features which could send its rivals into frenzy.

The new Baleno comes in seven variants, all in petrol.

Baleno Sigma Petrol    ₹ 6, 49, 000

Baleno Delta Petrol    ₹ 7, 33, 000
Baleno Delta Petrol AGS (Auto Gear Shift)    ₹ 7, 83, 000
Baleno Zeta Petrol    ₹ 8, 26, 000
Baleno Zeta Petrol AGS    ₹ 8, 76, 000
Baleno Alpha Petrol    ₹ 9, 21, 000
Baleno Alpha Petrol AGS    ₹ 9, 71, 000

The feature-rich Alpha Petrol AGS sports a Head up display just above the dash in front of the driver, a 360 degree camera, cruise control, type c charging ports, UV cut glass, anti pinch driver side power window and six airbags for added safety.

The Head Up display which the MSIL is using as a USP in its ad campaigns is a first in its segment. As described on its website, the Head Up display can be used to view AC functions, navigation, car speed, fuel economy and warning notifications in driver’s line of sight. The driver can also adjust the brightness and viewing angle as per the seating position.

Though the average waiting period for the hatchback is four weeks across cities, it is taking a bit more time in Odisha due to the global chip shortage.

Formerly known as Maruti Udyog Limited, the MSIL is an Indian automobile manufacturer, based in New Delhi. It was founded in 1981 and owned by the Government of India until 2003, when it was sold to the Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corporation.
