Tata Motors hikes prices of its passenger vehicles; details here

Indian auto major, Tata Motors announced a marginal price increase across its passenger vehicles.

The price hike will be effective from November 7, 2022.

As per a Tata motors press release, the weighted average increase in price will be 0.9%, depending on the variant and model.

The company has been absorbing a significant portion of the increased costs but the steep rise in overall input costs has compelled it to pass on some proportion through this minimal price hike, the manufacturer said.

It is pertinent to mention here that Tata Motors had hiked prices of its cars and commercial vehicles in July this year.

Tata Motors Limited registered 78,335 vehicles sales in the domestic & international market for October 2022 as compared to 67,829 units during October 2021.
