The top-of-the-line 718 GT4 RS from Porsche is now available in India for a starting price of Rs 2.54 crore (ex-showroom).

The most powerful member of the Cayman family debuted in India at the Festival of Dreams, Mumbai.

A seven-speed automatic transmission is paired with a 4.0-liter six-cylinder pure gasoline engine under the hood, which generates 493 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. A GT-specific gear selector and steering wheel-mounted gearshift paddles are also used for manual control.

Porsche claims, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS can reach a high speed of 315 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds.

Inside, the low-slung cabin is fitted with supportive seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Relatively rare, the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is not just a great sports car but also a unique collector's item that any automotive enthusiast would be proud to own.

While the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 was launched last year, with the RS badge now, this car packs an even more powerful engine, reduced weight, and sheer speed far beyond what is seen in its predecessors.
