Low Model, Wrong Price! Car Showroom In Cuttack Accused Of Cheating Customer

An owner of a research centre in Chedabhumi village of Bhanjanagar area of Ganjam district has brought serious allegations against the BMW showroom authorities in Cuttack.

Shankarsana Acharya, the complainant, was allegedly cheated by the showroom authorities while purchasing a car.

As per the allegations, Acharya went to the BMW showroom to buy a Jahre edition car for his farm. He had also paid a one-time tax of Rs 82,81,590.

However, during the RTO registration it was reportedly found that the showroom had provided a car which is a lower model compared to the one chosen by the customer. Moreover, the price of the car is Rs 2 lakh less than the price of the chosen car.

After Shankarsana found this, he had approached the showroom once again to take the car back and return the money he had deposited.

But allegedly, no steps were taken by the showroom to take the car or return the money back to Shankarsan.

The showroom authorities are yet to respond to the allegations.
