Kia Seltos Facelift
Korean Automaker, Kia is all set to unveil Seltos facelift on July 4 in India. Kia is bringing Seltos’ facelift to India after unveiling it in US market a year before.
Seltos was Kia’s debut vehicle for the Indian market when it was launched in 2019 and has been one of the brand’s bestsellers in the market, with over 5 lakh units sold till date.
As per a Car & Bike report, the India-spec Seltos facelift retains the design of the global model replete with more muscular bumpers, a larger grille as well as revised headlamps and redesigned tail lamps.
The biggest update to the Seltos' interior will be a new twin-screen layout with a digital instrument cluster. While the outgoing model also got a single binnacle for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, the former was a lot deeper set and only had a MID between the two analog gauges.
In terms of equipment, the Seltos is expected to offer some new features such as a panoramic sunroof, enhanced connected car features and even Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). As before, expect the updated Seltos to be offered in two trim lines – Tech Line and GT Line
Under the hood, the Seltos facelift is expected to continue with the existing 115hp, 144Nm, 1.5-litre petrol engine and the 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre diesel engine. Kia will likely reintroduce the turbo-petrol engine with the facelift, although it will now be a 1.5-litre unit producing 160hp and 253Nm of torque that's shared with the Carens, Hyundai Alcazar, and Verna.
