However, organisers are planning to stick to Goa as a permanent venue for India Bike Week in coming years.

The festival started in 2013 by the CEO of 70 EMG Company Martin Da Costa with an aim to provide a platform for passionate bikers to come together. The first ever biking festival of the country witnessed the participation by 5 thousand bikers from small and scattered biking communities of India. Over the years, the number of participants has risen to 20 thousand and still increasing as motorbiking has become a trending sport in the country.

It is pertinent to mention here that even though the event is a treat for the biking enthusiasts, there is no such mandate of having a bike to join the event. Anybody who is willing can book a ticket and witness the event unfold before them.
