Man charred to death, 3 injured as SUV catches fire after hitting tree in Odisha

A man was charred to death and three others were seriously injured after the SUV they were travelling in caught fire after hitting a tree on Monday night.

The mishap was reported from Karlakhaman under Gobindpur police limits in Kuchinda, Sambalpur.

As per reports, the passengers were returning from Simdega in Ranchi after attending a ring ceremony when the driver of the SUV lost control of the vehicles and hit a tree.

Following the collision, the vehicle caught fire in which one person was charred to death.

Three other persons sustained serious burn injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
