A goods train derailed near Suku station about six kilometres away from Koraput railway station on Friday, disrupting railway traffic and cancellation of two trains on the route. 

No casualties were reported after six wagons of a coal-laden train originating from Kirandul and heading toward Vishakhapatnam were derailed. Following the incident, two trains running between Jagdalpur and Vishakhapatnam have been cancelled. 

Meanwhile, accident relief trains reached the spot and launched a restoration work. 

To find out the cause of the accident, an expert team is learnt to have set out for the spot.
