4 Of A Family Critical In Rayagada Fire Mishap

As many as four persons of a family sustained critical burn injuries after fire broke out at their house in Sikharpai village under Kalyansinghpur police station of Rayagada district on Thursday.

The victims have been identified as Dayanidhi Behera, his wife Laxmi Behera, son Anil Behera and daughter-in-law Swapna Behera.

As per reports, the mishap took place when they were inside the house. A fire broke out and engulfed the house leaving them critically injured.

Hearing their cries for help, neighbours rushed to the house and rescued them in critical condition, source informed, adding that they have been admitted to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) at Rayagada.

The exact reason behind the fire is unknown.
