3 killed in separate road mishaps in Odisha
At least three persons on Monday lost their lives in two separate road mishaps in Odisha. In the first incident, two bike riders were killed after they collided head-on with each other near Katapali under Binika police limits in Odisha’s Subarnapur district.
The two speeding bikes were coming from opposite directions when they collided head-on with each other near Katapali. The intensity of the collision was so hard that one of them died on the spot. The other biker was rescued in critical condition and rushed to Burla-based VIMSAR.
However, he succumbed to his injuries in VIMSAR, sources said.
Similarly, in another incident, a biker was killed while two others were rendered critical after their two-wheeler was hit by a bus. The incident occurred while the private bus ‘Chakadola’ was en route to Bhubaneswar from Balasore.
The bus caught fire after the mishap. However, all the passengers were rescued safely, preliminary reports said.
