Vehicular movements came to a standstill after three persons were killed in a tragic road mishap in front of Jindal company's main gate at Kalinganagar of Odisha’s Jajpur district on Saturday.  While the identity of the three deceased is yet to be ascertained, all of them are suspected to be locals of any nearby village.

According to sources, the three deceased were going on a motorbike when they lost balance on their two-wheeler and rammed into a truck. Two of them died on the spot while the third person was rescued in critical condition and rushed to the local CHC.

However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment. All three of them worked in the same company, reports said. While the exact reason for the tragic mishap is yet to be ascertained, It is suspected they were overspeeding and the biker lost balance on the two-wheeler.

The incident triggered outrage in the area leading to a blockade of vehicular movements. On being informed, local police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for autopsy. 

Till the last report came in, cops were deployed to bring the situation under control in the area.
