3 killed as scooter falls into deep gorge in Odisha

Three friends were killed after their scooter fell into a deep gorge at Langalabeda Kesela Ghat under Narayanapatna Police limits of Koraput district. The three deceased are believed to be residents of Andhra Pradesh, reports said.

The mishap was so tragic that all three were killed on the spot.

As per reports, the trio had come to Odisha on their scooter. The bone-chilling accident occurred while they were on their way back home. While no exact cause behind the accident was known immediately, sources said the trio fell into the gorge after the rider lost balance.

On being informed, Narayanapatna Police along with fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies. The mutilated bodies were later sent for autopsy at the local community health centre (CHC).

As all three are from Andhra Pradesh, the district administration was yet to establish their identities at the time of the filing of this report.
