15 taken ill after 'gas leak' in prawn factory in Odisha

Nearly 15 persons were allegedly taken ill following a gas leak in a prawn processing plant near Gadiamala, Nilagiri in Balasore on Thursday. 

While the identities of the patients are yet to be ascertained, they are stated to be the workers engaged in the prawn factory. The victims, which included some minors, are undergoing treatment at the Nilagiri government hospital. 

As per reports, while working inside the plant, some complained of head reeling and fell unconscious. Later they were shifted to the hospital
Till the time of filing of this report, no company officials visited the hospital.
