Unthinkable tragedy: Woman’s heart juts out, keeps beating after bike-truck collision

What was meant to be a joyous day of celebration turned into an unimaginable tragedy in Hapur district, Uttar Pradesh, when a woman lost her life in a gruesome road accident on the eve of Karwa Chauth. The victim, Anuradha (35), was on her way to the market with her husband, Hariom, when their bike collided with a speeding truck near Gulaothi market on Friday.

Eyewitnesses described the collision as devastating. The impact was so powerful that Anuradha was thrown off the bike and suffered fatal injuries. She died on the spot, while her husband sustained multiple injuries and was rushed to the hospital.

A Horrific Scene That Shook Onlookers

In a shocking and heartbreaking moment, witnesses reported that Anuradha’s heart had jutted out and continued to beat for a few moments on the road, right in front of her injured husband. The horrifying sight left bystanders in disbelief and grief, with many struggling to comprehend the tragedy that unfolded before their eyes.

Family’s Protest and Police Action

Following the accident, police reached the spot, took custody of the body, and sent it for post-mortem examination. However, the family alleged that the body was sent without their consent, sparking protests at the scene. The situation was eventually brought under control after COO Pilkhuwa Anita Chauhan and senior officials intervened.

An FIR has been lodged against the truck driver, who fled the scene. Police have launched an investigation into the case.
