Tension gripped the Rajasthan High Court on Friday after an email warning of a bomb blast was received by the administration. The message reportedly instructed officials to evacuate the building immediately or face 'serious consequences.' Acting swiftly, authorities moved to clear the entire premises and launched an intensive search operation.
According to sources, Judges, lawyers, and court staff were immediately evacuated as police cordoned off the area. The alert prompted the deployment of dog squads, bomb disposal units, and civil defence teams, who began a systematic sweep of every section of the court complex.
Security Stepped Up Across the Area
According to DCP Rajarshi Raj, the High Court premises have been completely evacuated, and no one is being allowed entry until the area is declared safe. Teams from the fire brigade and bomb detection squad are conducting a meticulous inspection to rule out any explosive devices.
The email’s source is now under investigation, with cyber experts assisting police in tracing the sender. Meanwhile, security has been heightened around the court and nearby government offices as a precautionary measure.
Authorities Urge Calm
Officials have urged the public to remain calm and avoid spreading rumours while the search operation continues. More details are expected as authorities complete their investigation and verify the authenticity of the threat.
