Kapil Sharma’s Canada café targeted again, Bishnoi Gang claims responsibility

Kapil Sharma’s popular café in Surrey, Canada, Kap’s Café, has once again come under fire as gunmen opened fire at the establishment on Thursday. 

This marks the third attack on the comedian’s café, with associates of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi claiming responsibility for the latest incident.

Café Targeted Repeatedly

The post from the attackers hinted at disputes over unpaid dues and alleged insults to religious sentiments as possible motives. The gang members claimed their actions were warnings to those who “cheat or disrespect their faith.” 

Authorities are probing these claims to determine whether extortion, rivalry, or intimidation is the real cause behind the repeated strikes.

Gunfire Caught On Camera

A video of the attack circulating online shows multiple gunshots being fired at the café, which had only recently reopened after damages from previous assaults. 

The shooters, reportedly unmasked, fired several rounds before fleeing the scene. In a social media post, individuals identifying themselves as Kulveer Sidhu and Goldy Dhillon took responsibility, warning those who “owe money” or “speak against their religion.”

The café has faced gunfire on July 10, August 7, and now again in October 2025. While no injuries have been reported so far, the attacks have heightened concerns over public safety. 

Surrey police are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to track down the culprits.
