Baghpat/Bhubaneswar: A day after the emergence of a video showing lathis and iron rods flying between two rival groups over the selling of chaat on a street in the UP town of Baghpat, the viral clash has transformed into a whirlwind of memes and edited videos.

The video of the incident still occupies one of the top spots on the trends list on social media.  While Twitterati have come up with numerous memes of the incident most hilariously being the one with the caption ‘STAR WARS - UP Edition’, the one who has garnered the most attention is none other than Harinder 'chacha'.

The 'Chacha' who could be seen donning a green kurta in the video has become an internet sensation because of his henna-dyed big frizzy hair, and wrestling-like stunts during the incident.

Many social media users shared the video citing it with a caption for Harinder chacha in which they compared him with WWE superstar The Rock for slamming a rival onto the floor with one hand.

A Twitter user was seen comparing Harinder to the famous scientist Albert Einstein because of his similarity in the hairstyle with the legendary physicist.

Noted journalist Aditya Raj Kaul also wrote a humous caption on his Twitter handle over the incident calling it as the Homecoming.

Not only that, some others took it to a new level - the Endgame of the Avengers.

Even IPS officer from Odisha, Arun Bothra who always remains in news for his witty comments and social work also commented on his Twitter handle.

As per sources, a lathi fight ensued between the shopkeepers of two chat stalls at the Atithi Bhavan market area in the UP town and continued for some minutes before it was stopped. As many as 12 people have been injured in the incident. At least eight have been placed under arrest with charges against them include attempt to murder.

News agency ANI quoted Harinder saying that the fight broke off as a result of the other chaat seller making false claims that his food was stale. This drew customers away and irked him resulting in the brawl between the two groups.

"They kept drawing my customers away...they kept telling them to come to our shop, his food is last night's...The customers would return my chaat," Harinder complained.
