Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day amid ruckus

New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha was on Friday adjourned for the day amid ruckus soon after the House met for the day.

The opposition MPs had given notices under Rule 267 (Suspension of Business) to discuss the Rafale deal and the 13-point roster in university appointments.

Chairman M. Venkaiah Naidu rejected both notices.

This led to noisy objection by the Opposition members. Amid the ruckus, Naidu adjourned the House till February 11.
