Good news for the rail enthusiasts as the Indian Railways is set for the tourist season with two big announcements. Now not only destinations will look good, but the journey itself would be luxurious.

In such an initiative, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal announced that Indian Railways has decided to open their famed saloon cars to the public. In the long history of Indian Railways, saloons were only meant for officials and VIPs.

These special cars come with two bedrooms, attached bathrooms and a living room and at present, there are 336 saloon cars of which 62 are air-conditioned, reports claim.

In addition to that, the trailing windows offer a spectacular view of your journey.

Another exciting news for the enthusiasts is that the Railway minister announced Vistadome coaches on the Kalka-Shimla train.
