Police sub-inspector's son found murdered in UP

Muzaffarnagar: A police personnel's son, who went missing since yesterday, was murdered allegedly by his friend and his body was recovered near Kakrala village of the district, police said today.

According to circle officer Suksham Prakash, 30-year-old Amit Kumar was found murdered near Kakrala village in the district yesterday. He had been 'reported' missing since Saturday.

Kumar was the son of police sub-inspector Braham Singh, who is posted in Ghaziabad district, he said.

The victim's body has been sent for postmortem, police said, adding a case has been registered against a absconding youth.
