Ispat Express Stopped by Passengers At Rourkela Station Over Defunct AC

Rourkela: Irate over non-functioning of Air Conditioner (AC), passengers of Ispat Express stopped the train at Rourkela Railway Station here on Monday.

Passengers of the Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express created ruckus and detained the train at Rourkela over lack of air conditioning.

As per reports, the train has been detained at Rourkela Station since last four hours by passengers demanding repair of air conditioning system in the express train.

"Children are suffering due to the non-functioning of AC. As we are paying for it, the glitch in AC needs to be fixed immediately," rued a passenger.

"The AC stopped working from Jharsuguda Railway Station. It has already been over two hours but nothing has been done yet," said another passenger.
