Haryana Minister Anil Vij Who Took Trial Covid-19 Vaccine Shot Tests Positive For Coronavirus

Haryana: Weeks after getting a shot of Covid vaccine, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Saturday tested positive for coronavirus infection.

Conforming the news in a tweet today, Vij said that he has been tested positive for coronavirus and admitted to Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantt where is he undergoing treatment now.

"All those who have come in close contact to me are advised to get themselves tested for corona," added Vij in his tweet.

Earlier on November 20, Vij was administered a trial dose of India-made coronavirus vaccine Covaxin. He was among the first volunteers for the third phase trial of the vaccine. The 67-year-old BJP leader was administered the dose at the Civil Hospital in Ambala.
