Assam: A video of a doctor on COVID-19 duty, dancing in a protective suit to cheer up patients at a hospital in Assam, is winning praise from all quarters. The video is of Dr Arup Senapati, a surgeon who works at Assam’s Silchar Medical College.
The ENT surgeon is winning hearts with his dance performance on a Bollywood song while wearing a full PPE kit. In a video shared on Twitter by Dr Syed Faizan Ahmad, Senapati is seen dancing to the song “Ghungroo” from the film ‘War.’

Actor Hrithik Roshan, who originally danced to the song, also praised the doctor for his moves and spirit.
“Tell Dr Arup I’m gonna learn his steps and dance as good as him someday in Assam. Terrific spirit,” the actor wrote on Twitter.

Sources informed that Senapati has been an avid dancer, right from his college days at the Gauhati Medical College & Hospital taking part in several competitions and even winning a few.
