Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents on the upcoming board exams 2023, on Friday. The programme 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' aims to beat the exam stress.
In the annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ programme, the prime minister addressed the questions related to board exams. This sixth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha held at Talkatora stadium in New Delhi.
Reportedly, over 36 lakh students had registered for Pariksha Pe Charcha.
During his interaction with students at Talkatora Stadium in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 programme, PM Modi said criticism enriches and is valuable for one's life learnings. "If you are hardworking and honest, you should not care about the criticisms because they become your strength," he said.
It is important to know yourself and make a correct assessment of yourself. Those who do not know their own potential, face many obstacles in achieving their goals. There is always something extraordinary in an average person and something average in an extraordinary person. So, never be under the pressure to be extraordinary. Know your potential and then channelize your energy, said PM Modi.
"I am assuring you your efforts will never go to waste," said PM Modi to students who put in lots of effort during examinations. "Some students use their creativity for 'cheating' in examinations but if those students use their time and creativity in a good way, they will achieve heights of success," he said.
Time management is important both in exams and in daily life. Just prioritise your work; don't underestimate yourself, said the PM adding, "If you observe your mother, you will understand how to manage your time well as a student."
If you are doing well, everyone will have high expectations from you. I am in politics and the same thing happens to me. Expectations from family are also natural; but if the family is looking at social status, it's not healthy, said the Prime Minister.
Just like a batsman, who doesn't give any heed to the pressure of the audience and remains focussed on the ball, we must appear for exams with focus and diligence. That is when the expectations turn into strength, said PM Modi.
During his interaction with students at the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023 programme, PM Modi said that PPC is also an exam for him which is taken by students, parents and teachers. "Millions of students take my exams and it makes me happy. It is my privilege to see what the young minds of my country think," said the Prime Minister.
