BJP MP from Rajsamand, Diya Kumari, scripted a landslide victory in the Rajasthan Assembly elections on Sunday as she defeated her nearest rival in Vidyadhar Nagar by 71,368 votes, the biggest victory margin in the state this time.
The victory of the Jaipur princess is seen as a sign of the growing popularity of the BJP in Rajasthan. While Diya Kumari secured 1,58,516 votes, Congress' Sitaram Agarwal finished a distant second with 89,780 votes.
Diya Kumari credited the people of Vidyadhar Nagar for her massive victory.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the BJP headquarters here as the party triumphed in the Assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
As the PM arrived at the party headquarters, party supporters showered flower petals on him.
"Sapne nahi haqiqat bunte hai, tabhi toh sab Modi kon chunte hai," was painted in the backdrop on the stage where senior leaders Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh and party President J.P. Nadda were present to welcome him.

The veteran leader who led the Congress’ campaign added that the people had given the mandate to the BJP for a better future of Madhya Pradesh. “I congratulate the BJP for its victory. At the same time, I would also say that, the people have shown their love to you, now it’s your responsibility to fulfill their expectations. I believe that the BJP will work for the progress of Madhya Pradesh,” Kamal Nath added.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot submits resignation to Governor Kalraj Mishra as BJP secures 104 seats and leads in 11.
Interacting with mediapersons, he said: "Political parties need to learn from the defeats. We don't get bogged down by defeats or get elated with success."
"Telangana is our neighbouring state, and there is a big role in the success of the guarantee schemes of the Karnataka government. The Congress leaders of the state have also worked hard," he said, adding: "No one expected that Congress will make it to the power in Telangana."

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan criticized the Congress party, asserting that it fell short in its role as a unifying force among anti-BJP parties.
“The Congress party failed to unify the parties to put up a common platform against the BJP. A section of the Congress leaders played the communal card which was worse than that of the BJP,” said Vijayan, while addressing people at Palakkad as part of the statewide tour led by him.
“In Madhya Pradesh, Kamal Nath behaved like the ‘B team’ of the BJP. The Congress leadership is to be blamed for this debacle. The Congress party should learn from its mistakes and carry all together,” said Vijayan.
Incumbent Chief Minister and BJP candidate from Budhni, Shivraj Singh Chouhan won by a margin of 1,04,974 votes, garnering a total of 1,64,951 votes.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday accepted defeat in the Assembly polls in the state saying that the results were unexpected and the party will delve into the reasons that led to the debacle.
"We humbly accept the mandate of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The battle of ideology will continue. I am very thankful to the people of Telangana...," tweeted Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.

Celebrations broke out in the Congress camp in Telangana on Sunday as counting trends showed that the party was heading for a victory in the state leaving behind KCR's BRS.
In the semi-final fight ahead of the crucial 2024 general elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to be cruising in the 2023 assembly elections in three states- Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
As per the early trends following the counting of votes today, the BJP is leading in 106 seats in Rajasthan, followed by Congress in 72 seats.
In Chhattisgarh, the BJP is leading in 47 seats while Congress in 42 seats.
In Madhya Pradesh, the BJP has gained a healthy lead on 156 seats while the Congress is leading on 70 seats, as per the early trends.
In Telangana, the Congress is leading on 68 seats while the BRS is leading on 37 seats.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Congress leader Kamal Nath are leading in their respective constituencies.
Chouhan, who contested the polls from his home town of Budhni in Sehor district, is leading against Congress' Vikram Mastal while Kamal Nath is ahead in his bastion of Chhindwara.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Chouhan said that people of MP have chosen the BJP again because of PM Modi's welfare schemes.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members began celebrations as the party has established substantial leads in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
BJP is maintaining a lead in the 199-member Rajasthan Assembly polls, voting for which took place on November 25. According to the Election Commission's official trends, BJP is leading on 81 seats and Congress on 60, while BAP (Bharatiya Adivasi Party) candidates are ahead on four seats.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is ahead in Sardarpura seat.
As the counting for the four states is currently underway, early trends have showed the BJP leading in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, while Congress was ahead in Telanagana and Chhattisgarh.
The Congress candidates were leading in 40 constituencies while ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) was ahead only in 16 segments. The BJP had taken a lead in four constituencies while AIMIM was leading in one.
Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao was trailing in Kamareddy behind Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A. Revanth Reddy in Kamareddy.

With the 2023 assembly polls being seen testing ground ahead of the crucial 2024 general elections, all eyes are on the outcome in the assembly polls in Rajasthan, Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

As per early trends, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress are in a neck-to-neck fight in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
As per the trends emerging from the early counting of the postal ballots in Rajasthan, the BJP took a healthy lead on 50 seats while Congress was leading on 45 seats.
In Madhya Pradesh, BJP is leading in 58 seats while the Congress in 53.
In Telangana, the BRS took early lead on 23 seats, followed by Congress in 29 and BJP in 1 seat.
In Chhattisgarh, the BJP is leading on 17 and the Congress on 15 seats, as per the early counting trends.

Counting of votes for Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana Assembly elections begins.
Counting of votes will begin for MP, Rajasthan, Telangana and Chhattisgarh soon. As per schedule, the counting of votes in the states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana and Chhattisgarh is all set to start at 8 am today. Elaborate arrangements have been made by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the smooth conduct of the counting of votes.
The vote counting process for the Assembly election in four states– Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana has begun today. Early trends show a close fight between the top political parties in almost all the states. Though the polling process in Mizoram is also completed, the counting of votes in the state will take place on Monday (December 4), a day after it was originally scheduled by the Election Commission of India.
