“BJP govt will keep working towards a vibrant fisheries sector and continue to lay emphasis on improving the lives of fish farmers. We are also working towards ensuring increasing household savings with the provision of Rs 10,000 crore for the rooftop solar scheme in the Budget. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Odisha on a one-day visit today. During his trip, the PM will visit the western Odisha town of Sambalpur. He will inaugurate the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Sambalpur at Basantpur. Altogether, the PM will inaugurate, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple infrastructure projects worth over Rs 68,000 crore aimed at boosting various sectors during a public programme in Sambalpur today. The Prime Minister will also flag off Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express, which will improve connectivity for the rail passengers in the region.
