CHSE Odisha Plus 2 Results Live Updates: Science, Commerce results declared

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) declared the results of the much awaited class 12 or Plus 2 examination results for the Science and Commerce stream today.

Result links are now active on official websites, chseodisha.nic.in and on orissaresults.nic.in. Students can check their results using board exam roll numbers.

Students unable to check their Plus 2 results

Students allege that the official website is not working and they are unable to access their Plus 2 results even one and a half hours after the formal declaration of the results. Students in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur & Balasore reportedly face similar issues.

Big reforms in Odisha Plus 2 exam from next year

"CHSE has initiated the process & a formal announcement will be made soon. After the reforms, results of Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational courses will be declared on the same day," informs CHSE exam controller Ashok Nayak.

'Girls outshine boys'

Pass percentage of girls in the Science stream stands at 85.67 while 84.28 per cent of boys passed the exam.

In the Commerce stream, girls register 83.87 pass percentage while 79.52 per cent of boys passed the exam.

Almost 40,000 science students get 1st division

A total of 93,734 students appeared for exam in Science stream of which 78938 have passed. 39,573 students grabbed the first division in CHSE Plus 2 science exams. 24,257 got the second division and 14,852 secured the third division.

81.12% students pass Plus 2 Commerce exam

Overall pass percentage in Plus 2 Commerce steam this year stands at 81.12 per cent, informs School & Mass Education Minister Sudam Marndi. While the pass percentage of girls is 83.87%, boys recorded 79.52%. A total of 24,082 appeared for exams.

84.93% students pass Plus 2 Science exam

School & Mass Education Minister Sudam Marndi announced that the overall pass percentage in CHSE Plus 2 Science steam is 84.93 per cent. A total of 78,938 students passed the exam. While the pass percentage of boys is 84.28%, girl students recorded 85.67%.

Students curious, expect error free results

All eyes are now on the publication of the Plus 2 Science and Commerce results. There is a lot of anticipation among students across Odisha as the results are being published after much delay.

“We are nervous and at the same time excited that the results are going to be announced today. As the CHSE got adequate time, we hope that the results are published without errors,” said a student.
