CBSE Results 2022 LIVE UPDATES: Class 10 results announced, here's how to check

After releasing the term 2 and final results for Class 12 students, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the results of Class 10 exams 2022 on its official website. Students can log in to cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in to check their results using their board exam roll number, date of birth and school code. Students can download their scorecards from these websites using their board exam roll number, date of birth and school code. In addition to the official websites, scorecards can also be availed on results.gov.in and digilocker.gov.in. The board has been prepared based on the examination of two terms. The weightage for Term 1 is 30% and for Term 2, it is 70%.

Overall pass percentage recorded at 94.40%. About 95.21 per cent of girls clear exam in comparison to 93.80 per cent of boys

Board declares Class 10 results, check official websites for your scorecards

The CBSE has declared the Class 10 results 2022 just hours after releasing the Class 12 board exam results. Candidates can get their result through SMS by typing CBSE10( roll. no) (school no) (center no)) and send it to 7738299899. Students can also visit the official websites, cbse.gov.in, results.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, digilocker.gov.in for your scorecards.

No merit list declaration, board not awarding first, second or third division

The CBSE has not awarded first, second or third divisions to students this year. No merit list has been declared this year to avoid unhealthy competition. But the board will issue merit certificate to students who have scored the highest marks in the subjects.

4092 Children with Special Needs pass exam

According to CBSE bulletin, 4092 children or about 93.11 percent of students with special needs have passed the Class 12 board exams this year. As many as 292 students have cleared the exam with more than 90 percent marks while 63 of them have scored over 95 percent of marks.

33432 students score more than 95 percent marks

As many as 134797 or 9.39 percent of students have cleared the examination with more than 90 percent marks. Similarly, 33432 or 2.33 percent of students have scored more than 95 percent of marks.

JNV top in terms of institution-wise performance

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya have topped in terms of institution-wise results in class 12 exams this year with pass percentage of 98.93. Government-run schools have scored 93.38 pass percentage while independent schools have secured 92.20 pass percentage.

Trivandrum records highest pass rate of 98.83, Bhubaneswar second from bottom

In terms of region-wise pass percentage, Trivandrum has recorded the highest pass rate of 98.83. While Bhubaneswar has performed poor with 90.37 percentage and a second place from bottom.

Overall Pass percentage 92.71, girls outshine boys

The overall pass percentage in CBSE class 12 exam 2022 is 92.71. Girls have outshone boys in the class 12 results. As per board data, 94.54 percentage of girls have passed the exam this year in comparison to 91.25 percentage boys.
