The official notification for the Indian Economic Services (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) Exam 2020 has been issued by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). As per the notification, applications of candidates will be accepted till October 15, 2019 till 6 pm.

Apart from that, the official notification for combined geo-scientist examination 2020 has also been issued by UPSC. While the last date to apply for the same is October 15, 2019, examination will be conducted on January 19, 2020.

Interested aspirants can visit the official website of UPSC to apply online for UPSC exam 2020 at www.upsconline.nic.in. The IES examination will be conducted on January 5, 2020.

As many as 495 vacancies will be filled for different posts. The vacancies include 21 vacancies for the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) (03 vacancies for Low Vision, Acid Attack victims and Muscular Dystrophy & 07 vacancies for Hard of Hearing, 11 vacancies for Locomotor Disability including Leprosy cured, Dwarfism, ). There may be alteration in the number of vacancies.

--Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in
--On the right panel, click on the ‘Apply online’ tab
--Click on the link that reads, ‘Online Application for Various Examinations’
--Click here to download UPSC IES ISS Notification 2020
--Click on ‘ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC’

A new page with active application links will appear

Click on  ‘Click here for Part-1 registration’ link 

A declaration form will show up. After reading the instruction, click on ‘YES’. Then a form will appear on the screen

Fill in the required details including- name, father’s name, mother’s name, gender, community, date of birth, place of birth, Aadhar number, email ID, mobile number etc

Chose a password which will be required to download the admit card. Click ‘Save and Next’

In the next page, another form will appear to select your subject. Marks obtained in graduation, name of college need to be filled. One should be careful while choosing the subject. Click ‘Save and next’

In the next page, you will have to upload your photograph and a snap of your signature.

--Required size of photos around 5 -25 KB.
--Photo to be uploaded on the UPSC portal.
--After uploading the photos and signature, click on submit.
--An acknowledgement number will be generated which needs to be saved
