UPSC Recruitment 2020: Fresh Vacancies In 7th Central Pay Commission Scale

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has come up with some new vacancies inviting applications for s total of 122 positions. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.

While the application submission process for UPSC recruitment has already begun, the last date to apply for the fresh vacancies is August 13, 2020.

1. Thirty six vacancies for the post of Medical Officer/Research Officer (Homeopathy), Ministry of AYUSH (SC-05, ST-03, OBC- 11, EWS-04, UR-13)

Essential Qualification: (i) A Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognised University/ Statutory State Board/ Council or equivalent recognised under the Homeopathic Central Council ACT, 1973 (59 of 1973).

(ii) Enrollment on the Central Register of Homeopathy or State Register of Homeopathy.

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

2. Three vacancies for the post of Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Metallurgy), Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence (UR-03).

Pay Scale: Level-7 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘B’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 30 years

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science in one of the subjects viz. Physics, Chemistry (Inorganic) from a recognized University OR Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgy Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

3. Forty six vacancies for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (General Medicine), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (SC-05, ST-02, OBC-19, EWS-06, UR-14).

Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre, Group ‘A’.

Age: 40 years

Essential Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

4. Fourteen vacancies for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Neuro Surgery), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (SC-03, ST-01, OBC-04, EWS-02, UR-04).

Pay Scale: Level-11 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. Central Health Services Teaching Specialist Sub-cadre, Group ‘A’.

Age: 40 years

Essential Qualification: (i) A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956).

5. Two vacancies for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (SC-01, UR-01).

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics
or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.

6. Six vacancies for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Biology), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (ST-01, UR-05).

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Zoology or Botany or Anthropology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

7. Five vacancies for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (SC-01, UR-04).

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission. Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Toxicology or Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at B. Sc. Level from a recognized University.

8. Four vacancies for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Documents), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (SC-01, UR-03).

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

Essential Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics or Chemistry or Computer Science or Forensic Science with Physics or Chemistry or Forensic Science or Computer Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science from a recognized university or equivalent.

9. One vacancy for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Photo), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (UR-01).

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

Essential Qualification: Graduate degree preferably in science with diploma in photography from a recognized University/ Institution or equivalent

10. Three vacancies for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Physics), Forensic Science Laboratory, Home Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (SC-01, UR-02).

Pay Scale: Level-10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th Central Pay Commission. General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 35 years

Essential Qualification: Master degree in Physics or Forensic Science with Physics or Forensic Science as one of the subject at B.Sc. level from a recognized University or equivalent.

11. One vacancy for the post of Architect (Group-A), Urban Planning, Department of Urban Planning (Architect Wing), Chandigarh Administration (UR-01).

Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600. (Pre revised). General Central Service, Group ‘A’ Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.

Age: 40 years

Essential Qualification: Degree in Architecture of a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Should be registered as Architect with Council of Architecture, India.
