The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had earlier released the recruitment notification for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2019... And it is set to conduct the exam on April 21 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 143rd Course and for the 105th Indian Naval Academy Course commencing from January 2 , 2020.

UPSC will soon release the admit card for the exam and it's time for the interested and eligible students to grab the opportunity and become part of the prestigious Indian defence forces. The hall ticket is likely to be released next week. Meanwhile, here are some important details of the UPSC Recruitment for your information.

Total No. of Posts: 392

National Defence Academy: 342 (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)

Naval Academy: 50 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)

Selection Process

Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for the interview.

Based on Stage-I (Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT), Stage-II (Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference), medical examination.

Those applied for Air Force, will have to qualify Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) following which they could go for SSB.
