The Union Public Service Commission has released a recruitment notification for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2019.

The eExam will be conducted by UPSC on April 21, 2019 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 143rd Course, and for the 105th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from January 2 , 2020.

National Defence Academy: 342 (208 for Army, 42 for Navy and 92 for Air Force)

Naval Academy: 50 (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)

Educational Qualification

Army Wing - National Defence Academy: Class 12 Pass

Air Force and Naval Wings - National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: Class 12 Pass with Physics and Mathematics

Age Limit

Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than July 2, 2000 and not later than July 1, 2003 are eligible.

Selection Process

Based on Stage-I (Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests are Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT), Stage-II (Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and the Conference), medical examination.
