UPSC Recruitment 2019: Application Process Begins For Over 900 Posts

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a recruitment notification for the Civil Services (IAS/ IFS) Pre Exam 2019. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions before the deadline.

The last day of form submission is March 18, 2019.

Age Limit (as on August 1, 2019)

Minimum: 21 Years

Maximum: 32 Years

Educational Qualification

Indian Administrative Services: Candidates with Bachelor Degree in any discipline.

Indian Forest Services: Candidates having Bachelor Degree in following Subjects-: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture in any stream from any recognized University/Institute will be considered for this Examination.

Exam Pattern

The preliminary exam comprises Paper-I and Paper-II.

Objective type, multiple choice questions – Total 400 marks.

In General studies Paper-II, candidates have to qualify with minimum of 33 per cent marks.

In Paper-I, candidates will get questions from Indian Economy, Science and technology, Geography, History and Culture, Environment and Ecology, Indian Polity and Current events of national and international importance.

Note: Negative marking for every question is one-third of the marks assigned to that question.
