Bhubaneswar: The Union Public Service Commission is likely to start the online application process for the UPSC Civil Service (Main) examination 2019 from August 1. The candidates, who have cleared the preliminary examination, need apply online on the official website- www.upsconline.nic.in
The UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 is being conducted for engagement of fresh candidates to the position of IAS, IFS, IPS and other government officer level posts.
Moreover, candidates must note that the last date for submission of the online application form for the upcoming UPSC Main 2019 examination is August 16, 2019.
Earlier, the Union Public Services Commission released the time table for UPSC Civil Services Main Examinations 2019 which will be conducted from September 20 to September 29, 2019.
As per the schedule, the exam will start with Essay in Paper-1 in the forenoon session on September 20 whereas General Studies 1 i.e. Paper II will be conducted in forenoon and Paper III or General Studies 2 in the afternoon the following day.
Candidates will appear for General Studies 3 (Paper IV) and General Studies 4 (Paper V) in two sessions on September 22.
The examination will be held on Indian Language (Paper A) and English (Paper B) in forenoon and afternoon, respectively on September 28.
As per the schedule, Optional Paper 1 (Paper VI) and Optional Paper 2 (Paper VII) exam will be conducted on the last day of the UPSC Main examination on September 29.
