New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the list of candidates, in order of merit, who have been recommended for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’. This time, Pradeep Singh has topped the exam, while Pratibha Verma is leading the women candidates.

As per a notification of the Commission, based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2019 held by the Union Public Service Commission in September 2019 and the interviews for Personality Test held in February-August, 2020, following is the list, in order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:

(a) Indian Administrative Service

(b) Indian Foreign Service

(c) Indian Police Service

(d) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’.

The candidature of 66 recommended candidates is provisional while the results of 11 candidates have been kept withheld.

The result of Civil Services Examination, 2019 is subject to changes, if any, that may be necessitated by the orders that may be passed by the Courts in matters pending before them.
