UPSC Recruitment 2019: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for the positions of Junior Scientific Officer, Assistant Employment Officer and Scientist posts.

Qualification/ Experience

Junior Scientific Officer (Chemistry): Master’s Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

Experience: Two years in Analytical method and research in the field of Chemistry.

Assistant Employment Officer: Master’s Degree in Commerce or Social Welfare or Social Work or Economics or Statistics or Psychology or Education of a recognized university or equivalent.

Experience: Two Years Experience in socio-economic investigation or research preferably in relation to demography employment and unemployment or manpower problems. Knowledge of employment service work.

Scientist B (Biology): Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Microbiology / Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Physical Anthropology/ Forensic Science/ Genetics with Botany or Zoology as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

Experience: Three years experience in analytical methods and research therein in the field of Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / working in DNA Laboratory in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

Scientist B (Explosive): Master’s Degree in Chemistry/AIC by examination/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

Experience: Three years experience in analytical methods and research therein in the field of Explosive in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

Scientist B (Toxicology): Master’s Degree in Chemistry/AIC by examination/ Biochemistry / Pharmacology / Pharmacy / Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subjects at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

Experience: Three years experience in analytical methods and research therein in the field of Toxicology in any Central Government or State Government organization or recognized research institute or Forensic Science Laboratory under the Central or State Government.

Age Limit

Junior Scientific Officer: 30 Years

Assistant Employment Officer: 30 Years

Scientist B (Biology/Explosive): 35 Years

Scientist B (Toxicology): 38 Years

Selection Process

Selection of the candidates will be done based on their performance in Test and Interview, read the recruitment notification of UPSC.
