New Delhi: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited applications from the candidates for filling up of Consultant post purely on contract basis for a period of one-year in UGC Headquarters, New Delhi.

The application complete in all respect duly supported by the relevant documents may be submitted to the Secretary, UGC on or before November 12, 2018 before closing of office hours.

Note: UGC reserves the right to not to fill the post without assigning any reason. Application received after due date will not be entertained.

Name of the Post: Consultant for International Cooperation
Number of Positions: 01

Remuneration: As per the guidelines for the Consultant approved by the Commission (Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000)

Qualification: Master Degree in relevant subject i.e., Political Sciences and International Relations. NET qualified candidates may be given preference.

Job Profile: Assist the Commission in promoting international engagement in the field of Higher Education and work in International Bureau of UGC. The incumbent will report to the Bureau Head, International Collaboration.

Nature of Duties:

Preparation of status reports and initiation, implementation and coordination of International Collaboration programs.

Assessing the pros and cons of possible strategies related to International Collaboration.

Preparation of Agreements, MoUs, Declarations, calls for application and related scheme documents etc.

Implementing agreed decisions regarding International Collaboration and analyzing post implementation feedback for future decision making.
