Territorial Army Recruitment 2025: Apply for 1,529 Soldier posts from November 15

The Territorial Army has released an official notification inviting applications for 1,529 Soldier posts.

Eligible and interested candidates can apply offline through the official website, territorialarmy.in, starting November 15, 2025. The last date to submit the application is December 14, 2025.

107 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) 11 Gorkha Rifles – 102 posts

113 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Rajput – 129 posts

119 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Assam – 94 posts

121 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Garhwal Rifles – 134 posts

For Both Male and Female Candidates:

164 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home & Hearth) Naga – 437 posts

165 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home & Hearth) Assam – 360 posts

166 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) (Home & Hearth) Assam – 273 posts

Educational Qualification

Soldier (General Duty): Class 10/Matric pass with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.

For Boards following a grading system: minimum of D Grade (33–40%) in individual subjects and an overall C2 Grade or equivalent, corresponding to 45% aggregate.

Soldier (Clerk): 10+2/Intermediate examination pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science). Must have secured 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject. 

It is mandatory to have 50% marks in English and Mathematics/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12.

Soldier Tradesmen (All tradesmen except House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 10 pass with no stipulation in aggregate percentage, but must have secured a minimum of 33% in each subject.

Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 8 pass with no stipulation in aggregate percentage, but must have secured a minimum of 33% in each subject.

Physical Standards

The minimum height requirement for male candidates is 160 cm, with relaxations for candidates from specified hill and northeastern regions. 

For females, the minimum height is 157 cm with similar regional relaxations. Chest and weight standards will follow Army medical norms.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a Trade Test, Document Verification, Physical Fitness Test, Written Exam, Medical Examination, and a Final Merit List.
