The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has come up with a new notice related to the declaration of result of Paper-I for Junior Engineer.

The commission had conducted the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2019 (Paper-I) in the Computer Based Mode from 27.10.2020 to 30.10.2020 at various centres all over the country and from 10.12.2020 to 11.12.2020 for candidates who had opted for centres in Bihar.

As Paper-I (computer-based exam) of the said examination was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by candidates have been normalised as per the formula published by the Commission on its website on 07.02.2019, said the official release.

The normalised marks of the candidates have been used for processing the result to qualify the candidates for the next stage of examination, Paper-II).

The minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I have been fixed as 30% (60 marks) for UR, 25% (50 marks) for OBC and EWS and 20% (40 marks) for all other categories.

“The Descriptive Paper (Paper-II) of Junior Engineers Examination, 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on 21.03.2021 (tentatively). The status of city of examination and Admission Certificates of the qualified candidates will be uploaded on the website of the respective Regional Offices. However, the candidates who are unable to download their Admission Certificates may contact the concerned Regional Offices immediately,” read the notice.

Meanwhile, the Final Answer Keys will be uploaded on the website of the Commission on 08.03.2021 while marks of the qualified/ non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on 08.03.2021

Candidates can visit the official website and check their marks from 08.03.2021 to 28.03.2021 by using their Registration No. and Registered Password, it added.
