The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a notification in its official website for aspiring candidates of Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2019, the application process of which ends on May 29, 2019.
Mentioning it as an important notice, the Commission stated, "Candidates are hereby advised, in their own interest, to submit their online applications much before the closing date, i.e. May 29, 2019 and not to wait till the last date as there may be heavy traffic on the servers during the last days for submission of the applications."
Reportedly, the SSC had earlier issued a recruitment notification stating that it will hold a competitive examination for eligible candidates for filling up Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) posts in different States/Union Territories.

Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Application Fees: Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only). Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 31-05-2019 (5.00 PM). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through Challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 01-06- 2019 provided the Challan has been generated by them before May 31 2019 (5.00 PM).
Vacancies: Vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies will be uploaded on the website of the Commission from time to time (https://ssc.nic.in->Candidate’s Corner-> Tentative Vacancy).
Scheme of Examination: The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) and a Descriptive Paper (Paper-II).
Applications must be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.
Last date for submission of online applications is 29-05-2019 (5.00 PM).
Candidates are advised in their own interest to submit online applications much before the closing date and not to wait till the last date to avoid the possibility of disconnection/inability or failure to login to the SSC website on account of heavy load on the website during the closing days.

Date of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): August 2, 2019 to September 6, 2019
Date of Tier-II Examination (Descriptive Paper): November 17, 2019.
