In a major notification, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) releasing the salient features of the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2018, stated that the Tier II examination will be conducted as per schedule given in the calendar of examinations. The tentative date of result declaration has also been pre-poned by the Commission. As per the latest notification, the results will be declared on August 20, 2019 and not September 20.

The Commission had conducted the Tier-I exam from June 4, 2019 to June 13, 2019. It also conducted re-examination for 4825 candidates on June 19, 2019. The SSC Controller of Examination released a notification mentioning the salient features of the examination. The salient features of the examination are given below:

Total number of registered candidates: 25.97 lakhs
Number of Candidates appeared in the Examination: 8,34,746
Overall Percentage of attendance: 32.27%
Number of shifts: 22
Number of examination venues: 362
Number of cities in which examination conducted: 131
Number of States/UT's in which examination was conducted: 33

Tentative date for declaration of result: August 20, 2019

CGLE (Tier-II) 2018 would be conducted as per the schedule given in the Calendar of Examinations i.e. from September 11, 2019 to September 13, 2019.
