New Delhi: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a notification regarding a fake recruitment drive in its name which has forced candidates to send filled in application forms to the Commission. Over the last few days, the Commission has received a large number of filled Application Forms in Hard Copy (Printed Forms) along with Postal Orders for recruitment to the posts of Constable(GD)/ Constable(Tradesman) in BSF etc.
However, the recruitment drive is FAKE. Clarifying on the issue, the Commission has stated "General Public/ Candidates are hereby informed that the Commission has not invited/ uploaded any Notice/ Advertisement for the recruitment of the above mentioned posts."
It is also informed that the Commission uploads Notices of Recruitment for different posts / recruitments on its website i.e. https://ssc.nic.in and accepts only online Applications. Printed Application Forms/ Hard Copies are not accepted by the Commission.
General Public/ Candidates are, therefore, advised not to be misguided by anybody in this regard and must verify any advertisement from the website of the Commission/ its Regional Offices before responding, added the notification.
